Both days it has woken me in the middle of a dream (the hardest time to wake). It’s supposed to wake you in your lightest sleep cycle. I’ve used this app for the last two days. I’ve used it two days, won’t use it a third. It seems the phone has to be nearby for this to work, so that is a caveat, but other than that, no complaints from me. This works great, I especially like the gentle vibration instead of a loud sound, it makes waking up so much more pleasant. Regarding the alarm, you specify a 30 minutes window, and the watch picks a good time to wake up when you are sort of awake. If you answer the bedtime alert from watch, you can one tap set the alarm. I like the bedtime alert, it keeps you in a regular schedule, but there is nothing earth shattering about it, except it makes it really easy to set up the alarm. It has a super simple design: it only does two thing, bedtime alert and natural sleep cycle alarm. Enough complaints about Apple Watch, let me tell you about this app. Other wearable devices seem all have this capability, but not Apple Watch. I do not understand why Apple does not have this built in, the watch is on your wrist, so it is perfectly suited to track your sleep stages, and wake you up when it needs to.
